Aphasia in Ontario: What are your thoughts??

Article #2: The Relationship of 60 Disease Diagnoses and 15 Conditions to Preference-Based Health-Related Quality of Life in Ontario Hospital-Based Long-Term Care Residents

Although the diagnosis of aphasia was a smaller portion of the sample population (7.2%), it had the largest negative relationship with respect to QOL.  It was even higher than cancer.  Does this result surprise you???
